New Year’s Eve in St Ives is one big street party. Every year, the cobbled streets become swamped with 1000’s of merrymakers from all over the country ready for a night of fun in the Cornish seaside town.
The night features fireworks, impromptu samba bands, and food stalls plus sea creatures and normally a couple of Donald Trump’s to add to the list of never-ending fancy-dress costumes.
Rally your party and ramble down to the harbour front from 6 pm when the roads in the town close. If you have children in your family, then the earlier you head into town the better. It gets very busy and it’s a long night. Read More
